Insulted and Injured, A Documentary Film

Terrence Ross, Esther Cross and Alicia Martinez Pardies

INSULTED AND INJURED offers a street level glimpse of the collapse of the Argentine economy and its impact on the homeless population of Buenos Aires. It shows how Argentina, once known as the bread-basket of the Americas because of its natural bounty, has become financially crippled due to the interests of a global economy and the bad decisions of those in power. It details the progression of events leading up to the deadly street riots over the situation in 2001. INSULTED AND INJURED is composed of original video footage and newspaper photos. It is layered with a lyric monologue written by the critically acclaimed Argentine novelist, Esther Cross, and performed by the internationally known actor, Daniel Fanego. INSULTED AND INJURED is a powerful lament as well as a call for action in the on going global battle for universal human rights.
