Saara’s unique, no-holds-barred approach is one of her endearing qualities. She’s always had her own take on things, and having worked with her in a former life, that talent of hers to see the unusual in the mundane made the long hours of colour-collating multi-ply carbons in a concrete bunker in the Deep South tolerable.

Saara’s writing takes me on a unique trip. I see whacky things, I do whacky things all through Saara’s funny and jaded glass. She’s Mrs. Frizzle and we’re on her Magic School Bus, except we’re doing drugs.
