Continue dreaming. Very good story. This has to beat working for a living. Have a blessed day.

The story packed a punch, literally and figuratively. This tale would go down very well in an AA meeting. I was glad McGovern did not yield to temptation and because he seemed so real to me, I continue to hope that he will 'start again' for as long as it takes to pull him out of poverty. You have captured a certain state of being and mind here that is important to celebrate.

Keep on writing, Derek!

Enjoyed your story from start to finish. The foreshadowing of McGovern's temper really paid off and made his attack on Sax seem inevitable. Great ending as well.

I enjoyed reading the story. I read the whole thing with anticipation of what was going to happen and was surprised with the stool hitting.

Derek,

Good job. I felt I was in the store watching McGovern sort through jeans and his own emotions. You left us wondering and hoping.
